Marilyn Irene Vaughn (Johnson) was born October 23, 1959 to Mary Ellen Johnson (Lewis) and Jesse Johnson in Denver, CO.
She was the youngest of six (6) children (Jesse Johnson Jr., Shelley Wynn Hodge (Johnson), Stacie Lynn Ashley (Johnson), Damon Lamont Johnson, and Mark Lewis Johnson).
She later moved to New Jersey and married Matthew Vaughn, who she affectionately called "My King".
Marilyn attended Smith Elementary, Place Junior High, George Washington and Manual High Schools in Denver, CO.
She also attended Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey where she wrote and performed plays and sang solo in a band.
She was a loyal long-time employee of Continental and United Airlines at Newark International Airport.
